SEPTEMBER &
OCTOBER
Enjoy the spectacular colours of fall as
we travel by ATV through Algoma decked out in vivid reds,
yellows and oranges against the green of pines and spruces.
We leave from Sault Ste. Marie and travel by train 132 miles north,
through the Agawa Canyon and over the Montreal River trestle
on our way to the Millwood crossing. From here we
spend a few hours on the trail to Wawa, the centre of northern motorsports.
On the second morning we ride from
Wawa on old trapper trails and abandoned roads to
the former mining town of Goudreau, resurrected and operated by the Smedts family.
For the third morning we head through Hawk
Junction and Anjigami to the powerline trail heading south
to Halfway Haven for a final evening of northern hospitality
at its best.
For our last day we continue south,
riding through the Algoma Headwaters park and along the
Goulais River to our highway vehicles at Searchmont.
Guided by one or more of northern
Ontario's motorsport trail pioneers this is an informative
and up-close look with a combination of riding conditions
suited for all riders.
This is prime time riding and dates are
flexible, as are trail types. We select dates and routes to
meet group expectations.
