SIX-DAY ALGOMA WILDERNESS 
LEISURE  SNOWMOBILE TOUR
 

Guided tours start with your arrival in Sault Ste. Marie, where your vacation experience is fully laid out for your enjoyment.  After a fine evening meal, a social will allow you the opportunity to meet your guides, support staff and other adventurers.  This event will provide some last minute insight into what this experience holds for you and  prepares everyone for the following days together.  The next morning, after a leisurely breakfast, approximately 100 miles of groomed snowmobile trails will be covered; this will allow riders to become accustomed to this new experience.  After the first day, the tour can be more aggressive, riding between 100 and 150 miles of snowmobile trails per day, but still maintaining a relaxed pace with plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and take photographs.

The snowmobile tour will travel through a variety of terrain, from the winding and hilly trails of the rugged and scenic Canadian Shield to the flat and straight trails of the James Bay lowlands to the north.  Traveling through cedar swamps, hardwood bush, pine forests and open plains, you will experience the diversity of Ontario's wilderness.  Though communities are moderately sparse and wilderness travel is the emphasis of this tour, you will have an opportunity to encounter the friendly residents of Northern Ontario. 

 Accommodations will be in modern hotels, motels or lodges.

Our service for this guided snowmobile tour provides six nights of accommodations, meals, non-alcoholic beverages and trail permits.

Riders are responsible for their own fuel, vehicle registration, insurance and maintenance.  All sleds are expected to be in good mechanical condition capable of operating for a thousand miles of snowmobile trails without major repairs.

For those requiring sleds and/or appropriate outer snowmobile clothing and helmets, we offer snowmobile rentals at reasonable rates.
